As of 7:30(ish) pm this evening (5 Mar 17), I finally published the novel “Copper Rain”. You’d think I’d be rather excited. I am, but I am terrified at the same time. So many questions. What if they don’t like it? What if they do? Weird. I am mostly terrified. Why did I do this?
Anyway, I have to wait at least 72 hours before it can be viewed by the public on Amazon.com. I am selling it for $2.99 (it was easier that way), otherwise I would have to settle for 30% profit. If things go well, which I hope they do, I would also like to get it into print to some of the major stores.
It’s been a long time coming. The actual writing of Copper Rain, surprisingly enough, only took a year, if you only count the actual time I spent writing and editing it. Perhaps with the subsequent novels, they won’t take quite as long since the world is already built. All I have to do now is come up with the characters and their situations. Good thing I have about five or six novels waiting in the wings. One rough draft is already written in its entirety and three novels were started.
Now I can focus on fixing up the next novel, “His Father’s Legacy” (tentatively titled, of course).
Well, I’ve thrown myself out there. Now all I can do is watch and wait.
Wish me luck!
